Jadon Sancho hands major boost to suitors as English winger wants to LEAVE Borussia Dortmund

Jadon Sancho wants to leave Borussia Dortmund, giving his growing list of admirers further encouragement.

Runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool are the latest club to show firm interest in signing Sancho, whose time in Germany appears set to end next summer.

England starlet Sancho moved to Dortmund from Manchester City in August 2017, lived up to his reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting young talents and became one of the Bundesliga side’s most important players.

Developments this season, however, are understood to have left the 19-year-old unsettled and weighing up his future.

Revelations in August that Dortmund were already preparing for his exit, in a deal potentially worth over £100m, and had begun their search for a replacement has only intensified the transfer talk.

Sancho has also found himself publicly singled out more than once this season.

He was fined £86,000 and dropped for their important league game against Borussia Monchengladbach last month after returning late following international duty, a punishment he is believed to have accepted.

But he was then also forced to report for extra training alone and on the end of stinging criticism from sporting director Michael Zorc, who went public after manager Favre initially declared the matter would ‘stay internal.’ Favre also decided to admonish Sancho in public once more on Saturday.

Sancho was substituted just 36 minutes into Dortmund’s clash against big rivals Bayern Munich, which they went on to lose 4-0.

Sancho went into the game as an injury concern having limped out of Dortmund’s previous game against Inter Milan with a hamstring injury.

But Favre said: ‘He was not injured, he trained yesterday. I had to go on what I was seeing and, to be honest, it was not good enough.’

The decision to make an example of Sancho with his early withdrawal has been deemed especially harsh in some quarters given he has proven on numerous occasions to be a player capable of finishing games strongly and having made a decisive impact despite a slow start.

The growing uncertainty around Sancho will have been noted across Europe where he is a wanted man.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain remain interested, having been prepared for a battle for his signature last summer, along with Barcelona and now Liverpool.

As reported by Sportsmail last month Real Madrid, who first wanted Sancho when he left City, have also revived their interest and begun doing groundwork on a potential deal for next summer.
